About Us

​We opened our first business, Max Muscle of La Mirada back in 2001. We were a full service nutrition store that also offered tanning services. Our tanning got so big that we moved it out and opened a full service tanning salon.

In 2005, we created a modern chic atmosphere named Sun Studio Tanning in Placentia, CA. Taking its name from the European tag for tanning salon, Sun Studio took conventional tanning to the next level.

Our knowledgeable certified staff thrives on customer service and can answer all your tanning inquiries. Our love for nutrition, health, and fitness has made us strive to wipe away the negative assumptions of tanning. The UVB light emitted by tanning lamps helps stimulate Vitamin D production in the skin which elevates Vitamin D levels in blood just like the sun. It is a natural, essential means of taking in the vitamin. Tanning in moderation can be so beneficial!

Here at Sun Studio Tanning, we offer 2 full service tanning salons located in the cities of Placentia and Yorba Linda. We provide 3 different categories of tanning which include Sunbeds, Spray Tan, and Red Light Therapy.
